Pre-Kindergarten Program Curriculum
Our curriculum focuses on daily, thematic units which spark a child’s natural curiosity and interest in learning. Themes are integrated to include all areas of learning and are designed to address pre-kindergarten readiness skills including but not limited to:
Language: Alphabet Recognition/Writing, Phonics and Early Reading Skills
Math: Numbers, Problem Solving, Early addition and subtraction, patterns
Fine Motor Skills: Proper writing skills, mastering scissors
Shapes and Colors
A Typical Day Includes
· Circle time / Primary academics
· Table Time / Theme activities / Fine motor skills
· Learning centers
· Lunch
· Active play/ Gross motor skills
· Enrichment Activities (Reading, Science, Math, Music)

Art and music are integrated into various aspects of our day and play an important role in our curriculum.
Preparing to send your child to kindergarten can come with many questions, concerns and reservations. We believe that each child grows, learns and develops differently therefore we strive to work with each student individually to help prepare them to step into kindergarten and the elementary school years.
Learning Centers
Because we believe children learn in many different ways, our classrooms offer the opportunity for students to engage daily in learning centers. These developmentally appropriate, self selected activities include such areas as Reading, Math, Art, Creative play, Manipulatives, Science and age appropriate technology.
Social skills, work habits, and personal responsibility are all important aspects of our daily routine.
Special Activities
Field trips, special guests and special events are another important aspect of our program offered to help enhance the learning experience.
